In the morning you need to start with two glasses of distilled water. Each glass should be 8 ounces each with ½ lemon for each one, squeezed. This not only wakes up your digestive systems but helps towards drinking 8 glasses of water a day.

Breakfast begins with eating any fresh fruit at least 15 to 30 minutes before your whole grains. Whole grains such as buckwheat, brown rice, quinoa, millet and amaranth can have flavored adding some fruit juice or olive/coconut oil or butter to them, no more than 2 tablespoons. You should also take at least 200 to 400 units of vitamin E along with 100 to 200 mcg of selenium for supplements. These are full of anti-oxidants and help to fight the free radicals within your body.

As a midmorning snack, drink 1 to 2 cups of vegetable broth. You can get this from steaming your vegetables and you may season the broth with a little salt. Add to your diet no less than 500 mg but no more than 1000 mg of vitamin C that contain calcium and magnesium, but should not have artificial sweeteners or sugar.

Lunch and Dinner – you should only eat steamed vegetables. Make sure you save the broth and refrigerate it to use the next day for your midmorning snack. Using at least four different vegetables should give you enough variety in flavor and texture.
